OLD PENDERGAST MANSION

The owners of the old Pendergast Mansion on Vivion Road have invited our Annual Picnic to their estate for the second year! They’ve offered their historic home, and beautiful grounds, including garages, barn, horse stables, log cabin (which was home to a Civil War General), and hand dug well, to host our picnic!!

Not to fear, if the weather turns unfriendly, they have plenty of space to keep us dry! Wear casual clothes. Shorts or jeans are great! Also wear comfortable shoes. The grounds are very grassy, and may be wet. Shine your car. Bring the significant other and kids. This is an event you don’t want to miss!! Kids, both young and old, will love the horses, donkey, and chickens! Bring your lawn darts, frisbee, and lawn chairs. The grounds are beautiful. Think southern plantation.

The Club will provide meat, bread/buns, condiments and bottled water. Please bring a side dish, chips or dessert that you’d like to share, as well as your preferred beverage if bottled water isn’t your thing! The owners of the Mansion have opened their home to us. Let's show them our appreciation with a record attendance! We had 104 people last year! If you have club apparel, please wear it! Remember, apparel is available from the link on the home page!!
